
Johnny Silmon has over 20 years of hands on experience in the fields of health, fitness, strength and martial arts training. From the age of thirteen he began training individuals, often with profound effects, and since that time has amassed literally thousands of training hours with individuals who have ranged from mums to be, business executives right through to A list actors. He has worked in exclusive Chelsea health clubs as well as busy City of London clubs, always delivering proven results with his clients. In 2003 he co-founded a martial arts and fitness academy in London, leaving five years later to work on further projects.
His areas of expertise are in the areas of body re-composition, whether reducing or building up, and sports specific conditioning, where he has had the opportunity to work with amongst others, a number of Premiership footballers. He currently acts as consultant to a number of professional players.
Johnny has been involved in combat based disciplines since 1982 having trained in Boxing, Judo, Wing Chun Kung Fu and Northern Praying Mantis Kung Fu, and has been a student of the Indonesian art of Pencak Silat since the early nineties. He currently teaches this rare South East Asian system to a select number of students. He is a feature writer and is also on the technical advisory board of Martial Arts Illustrated, the U.K leading martial arts publication.
